Biaxial stretchable light-emitting device using kirigami-elastomer structure

The demand for flexible and stretchable devices has been increasing in multiple fields, such as healthcare, energy harvesting, artificial intelligence. In this study, we report a novel method to fabricate by integrating kirigami sheet with an elastomer, both stretchable. Owing the flatness of under no stress, electrodes can be patterned using printing technique, which enable large size mass production. Kirigami sheets form three-dimensional shapes stress/strain. integration elastomers is carried out placing liquid elastomer on structure. A biaxially light-emitting device was fabricated patterning electrode top it. This study reports fabrication method, activation, stretchability.
